Opening of a current account online is possible for all citizens of the Republic of Croatia residing in Croatia who have a valid identification document – identity card or passport, but do not have a current account. For online contracting, you need a smartphone or laptop/computer with a camera and microphone to establish a video call.

Opening an account online is completely secure. Video identification as the last step of opening an account online is fully compliant with legal regulations and is carried out according to the Ordinance on the Provision and Use of Trust Services, which you can read more about on the website of the Ministry of Economy.

When opening an account through an online application, you will receive an e-mail with a link to a video identification via video call. Please follow the instructions and after the video call your current account or RBA Start&Go package will be opened within 15 minutes, about which you will be notified by e-mail. If you contract the RBA Start&Go package through the mojaRBA app, you will receive all instructions through the application and even more easily establish a video call.

When opening a current account at the branch office, your account will be opened immediately and you will receive all the necessary documentation from our employee.

We send the debit card and PIN to your home address in separate shipments, and you will receive them within 7 to 10 days max.
