At the time of submitting the loan application, the sum of the borrower's age and the loan repayment period cannot exceed 75 years, while the sum of the co-debtor's age and the loan repayment period cannot exceed 65 years.

The basic documents required for the approval of a cash loan for pensioners are:

  • Loan application
  • Copies of the ID cards of all participants in the loan
  • A copy of the most recent pension slip along with the original of the penultimate
    pension slip or a Pension Notice issued by the bank and/or the pension agreement concluded with the pension insurance company, indicating the pension amount, provided that the pension payment is agreed upon for at least the duration of the loan repayment.

Pensioners in the process of transferring regular income to RBA are required to submit a Confirmation of the Pension Amount from another bank or a Confirmation of the Pension Amount from the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute (HZMO).

Pensioners receiving foreign (foreign currency) pensions are required to submit a copy of the pension decision.

Yes, it is possible to pay off part or all of the loan for pensioners early. To make an early repayment, you need to submit a request for early repayment. Regular interest is not paid on the loan amount that is repaid early for the remaining repayment term.
