PayPal service

PayPal, electronic payment system provides its users with the service of money transfer, money transfer to another account, purchase and sale.

Use of PayPal service

Prior registration is required for PayPal service use. Registration procedure is quick and simple and may be done on the website: www.paypal.com. An e-mail address and a credit or debit card are required to register. The registration process is initiated by clicking on ˝Sign up/Open an account˝. Follow the instructions, enter all the required information accurately and make sure you read the User Agreement.

When a card is added, PayPal verifies the validity of the card and authorises the amount of USD 1.00. In addition.

PayPal will send a four-digit ˝Expanded User Number˝, a PayPal code, to the bank.
The PayPal code may be checked through Internet banking in the transaction description or credit/debit card statement. After the validity of the four-digit code has been verified, PayPal will repay the charged amount.. If an invalid verification code is entered three times, card registration on PayPal will be disabled. In that case, contact PayPal for assistance with how to add the same card again.

Any Mastercard or Visa cards issued by Raiffeisenbank Austria d.d. (RBA) can be used for PayPal payments. Funds from a PayPal account may be withdrawn to Visa and Visa Electron cards only.

Currency conversion

PayPal will use its own exchange rate to convert the currency of the point of sale (USD etc.) in EUR. After funds have been withdrawn from PayPal, it will take a few days for the amount to show in your account (card) balance.
