Višnja Božinović becomes new RBA Board member

After joining the Management Board of Raiffeisen Bank, Višnja will be responsible for the retail segment.

 

The Croatian National Bank (CNB) Council at its meeting on Wednesday, 14 November 2018, approved the proposal of the Supervisory Board of Raiffeisenbank Austria d.d. (RBA) for the appointment of Višnja Božinović as a new member of the RBA Management Board while extending the mandate of current Board members – Liana Keserić and Ivan Žižić.

Višnja Božinović embarked on her banking career at Riadria Banka d.d. 20 years ago, followed by Privredna Banka Zagreb d.d. From there she went on to Societe Generale –Splitska Banka d.d., where she discharged a range of managerial duties in retail banking operations. Višnja also has experience in the insurance industry, acquired while working at Croatia Osiguranje d.d.  She comes to the position of RBA Board member from Addiko Bank d.d., where she was the executive director in charge of managing sales and distribution channels.

Višnja attended a number of professional development programmes and trainings and she also boasts vast business experience not only in the banking, but in the financial industry as well. After joining the Management Board of Raiffeisen Bank, Višnja will be responsible for the retail segment.

Her previous financial sector experience, along with the knowledge, professionalism and skills acquired, will certainly help achieve the business goals of Raiffeisen Bank while also strengthening its market position further. I am convinced that, with her help and expertise, we will be able to successfully improve the organisational parts of the Bank for which she is responsible and further strengthen the Management Board,” said Michael Georg Müller, the CEO of RBA, on the occasion of Višnja Božinović’s appointment to the position of RBA Board member.
