RBA promotional campaign "Friends by Account" 2025
Raiffeisenbank Austria d.d. (RBA) is organizing the referral campaign „Friends by Account“ from 1 July 2025 to 31 December 2025.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE AS A PROMOTER?
Promoter is an adult private individual who is already RBA's client. This means that on 1 July 2025, they have an activated mojaRBA mobile app or use at leaset one of the bank's products, and thus they receive the promoter's activation code. With the activation code, the promoter invites friends to become RBA clients, by opening a current account at RBA and transferring their regular income payments (salary or pension).
Each new client who sets up a product of the bank receives their activation code within a week and becomes a promoter this way.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE AS A NEW CLIENT?
A new client adult private individual qualifies for the promotional campaign reward once they:
- become RBA's client by opening one of the current account packages (RBA Start&Go or RBA Young&Free) and transferring their regular income payments to an RBA account, with the recommendation for the business relationship with the bank for at least one year. This individual has not been an RBA client for the past 6 months at least (i.e. from 1 January 2025). The exceptions are students and unemployed young individuals aged 18-27, who, in addition to opening RBA Young&Free current account package, need to execute three transactions in mojaRBA mobile banking app.
- If they are already RBA's clients, yet they have not received regular income payments (salary or pension) in RBA account. They join the promotional campaign using their own activation code.
Adult Croatian citizens apply for the promotional campaign:
- using the mojaRBA mobile application to open RBA Start&Go or RBA Young&Free package,
- apply via the application form on the bank's "Friends by Account" website and signing up for the RBA Start&Go or RBA Young&Free package with assistance in RBA branches.
Foreign nationals residing in Croatia apply for the promotional campaign through the Registration Form and by scheduling an appointment via the bank's web page "Prijatelji po računu" (Friends by Account).
A new business client is an individual with a registered business, or a legal entity (craftsmen and small businesses) that is not an RBA client and has not held a transactional account at RBA in the last 6 months. They apply for the program via the bank’s web page "Friends by Account” with the recommendation for a business relationship with the bank for at least one year.
Promoters can invite friends, family, or acquaintances to become new RBA clients, and thus earn rewards, provided that the new client meets all the conditions of the promotional campaign.
HOW DOES THE REWARD SYSTEM WORK?

Promoters receive 50 EUR for each new client who contracts an RBA Start&Go, RBA Young&Free package, or a transaction account. They can share their Activation Code and receive rewards without limitation until 31.12.2025.
PAYMENT OF REWARDS
Rewards are paid in a lump sum in the calendar month following the fulfilment of all requirements, exclusively credited to the current account of the Promoter and the New Client private individual.
ADDITIONAL RULES
Who is not eligible?
Employees of the Bank and the Group are not eligible for rewards. Employees who work directly with clients (Business Network, Call Centre, and SME Sales Centre) cannot receive Activation Codes either.
Conditions for Promoters without RBA account
Promoters without RBA account must open a current account in order to receive their reward.
Recommendation of several Promoters for the same client
Multiple Promoters referring the same client. If multiple Promoters refer the same person, the reward is paid to the Promoter whose Activation Code was registered first.
Data protection
New Client information is protected and is not shared with Promoters or other New Clients.
Right to change and monitor the campaign
RBA reserves the right to change the terms of participation or to cancel the campaign altogether at any time.
If RBA determines that the client has taken actions contrary to the Rules and the purpose of the "Friends by Account" campaign (e.g. by misusing activation codes, fraudulent transfers of income, etc.), RBA has the right to exclude the client from the promotional campaign.
