RBA promotional campaign "Friends by Account" in 2026

Raiffeisenbank Austria d.d. (RBA) is organizing the referral campaign „Friends by Account“ from 7th of January 2026 to 31st of December 2026.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

Promoter: an existing RBA client, an adult private individual who has the mojaRBA mobile app or at least one active bank product on 5th of January 2026. Any individual can become an RBA client by contracting any bank product and becoming a Promoter on this way.

New Client is

  • an adult private individual who is not an RBA client or
  • an adult private individual who is an existing client who has not received regular income (salary/pension) payments in the bank for the previous 6 months but has at least one bank product.

Adult Croatian citizens apply for the promotional campaign:

  • using the mojaRBA mobile application to open RBA Start&Go or RBA Young&Free package,
  • apply via the application form on the bank's "Friends by account" website and signing up for the RBA Start&Go or RBA Young&Free package with assistance in RBA branches.

Adult foreign citizens apply for the promotional campaign through the Registration Form and by scheduling an appointment via the bank's web page "Prijatelji po računu" (Friends by Account).

New clients establish a business relationship with the bank with the recommendation for at least one year.

New Client business entity is a legal entity who is a micro or small entrepreneur as per the Accounting Act, an association, institution and other legal entity that is not registered in the court register, and a natural person who operates within the scope of an economic activity and free profession, who is not an RBA client and has not held a transaction account with RBA in the last 6 months.They apply for the program via the bank’s web page "Friends by Account” with the recommendation for a business relationship with the bank for at least one year.

Promoters can invite friends, family, or acquaintances to become new RBA clients, and thus earn rewards, provided that the new client meets all the conditions of the promotional campaign.

HOW DOES THE REWARD SYSTEM WORK?

The „Friends by Account“ promotional referral campaign rewards New Clients who are private individuals detailed in the table:

Conditions for participation 

Apply for a promotional campaign and signing up for the RBA Start&Go package via mojaRBA mobile banking (MB)

or

apply via the application form on the bank's "Friends by account" website and signing up for the RBA Start&Go package via the mojaRBA mobile application with assistance in RBA branches.

Within one month of contracting the package, at least 3 non-cash payments must be made to other recipients (e.g., utility bill payments, POS and online purchases, payment with a debit card or mobile wallet). Cash withdrawal transactions, non-cash transfers to own accounts, and savings deposits are excluded.

Directing the regular salary or pension payments to the RBA account within 3 months of contracting the RBA Start&Go package for new clients or for existing clients who do not have the package contracted.

Existing clients who already have the RBA Start&Go package may redirect their salary or pension within 3 months of enrolling in the 'Friends by Account' campaign.

Existing clients who previously contracted a current account are not eligible for the 3 transactions reward, but only for directing the salary or pension payments to the RBA account.

Directing the regular salary payments to the RBA account within 3 months of contracting the RBA Young&Free package for new clients or for existing clients who do not have the package contracted.

Existing clients who already have the RBA Young&free package may redirect their salary  within 3 months of enrolling in the 'Friends by Account' campaign.

Existing clients who previously contracted a current account are not eligible for the 3 transactions reward, but only for directing the salary  payments to the RBA account.

Transfer salary payments to RBA account by the end of the calendar year.

Conditions for participation

Apply for a promotional campaign via the application form on the bank's "Friends by Account" website.

Opening a transactional account online, and completing the first outgoing (transfer) transaction.

Reward: 12 months free of charge for clients who contract an RBA FlexiBIZ BONUS business package

Promoters receive a reward of 50 EUR for:

  • for every New client – private individual person who contracts a current account, RBA Start&Go or RBA Young&Free package using their Activation Code and makes 3 outgoing transactions to third parties;
  • for every new Client business entity who opens a transactional account online using their Activation Code and makes the first outgoing transaction;
  • for transferring a salary or pension to their own RBA account and registering for the program using their own Activation Code.

Promoters can share their Activation Code and receive rewards without limitation until 31st of December 2026.

PAYMENT OF REWARDS

Rewards are paid in a lump sum in the calendar month following the fulfilment of all requirements, exclusively credited to the current account of the Promoter and the New Client private individual. The bank reserves the right to limit and/or suspend the payout of rewards to a promoter if it becomes aware or reasonably suspects that the promoter is acting contrary to the regulations when distributing Activation Codes.

For New Client business entity, the reward "12 months without a fee for clients who contract the RBA FlexiBIZ Bonus Package" will be applied no later than the calendar month following the month in which the conditions were met.

ADDITIONAL RULES

Who is not eligible?

Employees of the Bank and the Group are not eligible for rewards. Employees who work directly with clients (Business Network, Call Centre, and SME Sales Centre) cannot receive Activation Codes either.

Conditions for Promoters without RBA account

Promoters without RBA account must open a current account in order to receive their reward.

Recommendation of several Promoters for the same client

Multiple Promoters referring the same client
If multiple Promoters refer the same person, the reward is paid to the Promoter whose Activation Code was registered first.

Data protection

New Client information is protected and is not shared with Promoters or other New Clients.

Rights of the Bank

RBA reserves the right to amend the terms and rewards, or to cancel the promotional campaign at any time.
